Pediatric ophthalmologist dedicated to helping children overcome "lazy eye" and other eye conditions, through compassionate care and education.

"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." This famous quote by Confucius is my moto in life.

Becoming a paediatric ophthalmologist was my dream and my goal. I graduated with honors in Medicine in 2013 and finished my residency in Ophthalmology in 2020. Along the way, I encountered incredible mentors—both colleagues and patients—who solidified my love for paediatric ophthalmology.

With my family’s support, I decided to pursue long-term sub-specializations abroad. This became a reality not just once, but twice. The things I learned and experienced there expanded my horizons far beyond the field of medicine.

However, my profession, training, and all the pages that I read only cover one side of working with children. For the other side, I have motherhood to thank. Being a mother to three wonderful children was the dream I didn’t know I had—a dream that gave me strength, motivation, and new perspectives.

Seeing things through a parent’s eyes was the missing link. It taught me how to be a better friend to my patients and their families. It also gave me the endless ability to "multitask" through the chaos of everyday life.
